Made-to-measure bookcases in Altea

“The finished wall of living-room storage looks calm, which hides how many awkward details had to be resolved. We asked the team to hide the router and cables while keeping books and a few objects visible. Because the room is in Altea, we asked specifically about large glazed openings; it was covered in the proposed sequence. The drawings dealt with those details one by one. The fitters protected the room carefully and spent time regulating the doors before they left.”

“A bespoke sideboard sounded simple until we looked at the access and the existing services. We wanted to store tableware and glassware while keeping a clear surface for serving. The survey in Altea also picked up deliveries on narrow streets, which had not been obvious in the photographs. Those constraints were dealt with in the drawings, so fitting day was calm and well organised. We liked the lack of sales talk.
