Some projects arrive with plans and a finish schedule; others begin with phone photographs. Both can progress well when the assumptions are made visible early.
A sketch is welcome, but it is not compulsory. Current drawings, finish intent, programme dates and known access constraints usually reveal enough to separate the immediate need from ideas that can wait.
Reference images help us read taste, not copy dimensions. We mark what you like about them—perhaps the calm fronts, open display or timber tone—and test only that idea against the room.
There is no benefit in collecting dozens of dimensions before the furniture has a clear job. We first decide what needs confirming, then measure those junctions carefully.
Module divisions are checked against both the elevation and the installation route. A technically convenient joint still needs to look deliberate once the doors are closed.
We compare samples, technical details, production information and installation responsibilities as a working combination. Colour is considered beside cleaning, load, moisture, touch and the amount of daylight in the room.
Strong daylight around Altea can make sheen and grain appear more pronounced. A sample is therefore judged at the angle and scale in which it will be seen.
We note the route, surfaces that need protection and any other work still active in the property. That information gives the workshop a realistic assembly plan.
Scribes and final adjustments are allowed for rather than treated as surprises. That is how a fitted piece meets the building without looking forced.
Phasing can be sensible, particularly when several rooms are involved. What matters is deciding the sequence before one early choice limits a later room.
If the first scope is too broad, we reduce it deliberately—by room, feature or phase—rather than weakening every component at once.
After reviewing the information, we tell you what is viable, what is still uncertain and whether a measured visit is the right next step. There is no need to stage the room before sending photographs.
A good first reply may be short: yes, this is feasible; no, that arrangement will cause a problem; or here is the one photograph we still need.
